Our Story
Hometown bakers and good friends Lori Jacobs and Dana Iliev founded Cake in a Cup as Toledo's first all-cupcake bakery. Along with their hard-working staff, Lori and Dana are quality perfectionists, committed to using, fresh homemade ingredients to create beautiful, flavorful cupcakes that keep customers coming back for more.
Serving delicious, all-homemade, specialty cupcakes since 2007, Cake in a Cup is locally-owned and nationally-recognized, as winner of Food Network’s Cupcake Wars. We invite you to visit our expanded bakery, try our new offerings, or place an online order.
Location
We’re proud to be hometown bakers and we’re looking forward to serving more of our customers in our new Central Avenue location. We know you’ll love our airy, glass-filled, conveniently-located (and expanded!) space.
We’re particularly excited to give you a close-up view of our baking process. You can walk right up to and sit near our open kitchen and watch Dana, Lori and our fabulous staff at work.
